today we started the second week in the workshop we were givin the task of fixing a area of cladding with an internal and a external corner. we first fixed some brown paper on the wall frames. then we cut 2 strips of alcor for the internal and external corners. we then placed pre cut pices of pine for the inrenal and the external there was a strip cut out down the back so it can just slip over the end. then cut some cladding and fixed them to the frame with screws allowing 25mm over lap. then we packed up the tools and came back after lunch and dimanteled them salvaging the left over pieces. then we went to the class room were we did a few questions in the cladding and linings work book we worked out the perimeter, gross area and worked out cost and the amount of cladding needed. then came to the computer room to do some more calculations a nd this blog.
